How to Resolve Order Issues

1 min read

If you encounter any problems with a trade, the first and fastest way to get a resolution is to communicate directly with the other person involved.

Step 1: Contact the Other Trader #

Most traders on PeerLoot are committed to completing trades successfully and are often able to resolve minor issues quickly. By reaching out to them first, you give them a chance to fix the situation, whether it’s a simple delay, a misunderstanding, or a mistake with the delivery.

To find your ongoing trades, go to your My Active Orders page. From there, click on the specific trade to go to the order trade page.

On the order trade page, you will find the Order Chat window. You can use this to communicate directly and securely with the other trader. This is the official channel for all communication regarding a trade, and our support team will use it to review disputes.

Step 2: Open a Dispute #

If you cannot reach a satisfactory resolution with the other trader, or if they are unresponsive, your next step is to open a formal dispute.

You can open a dispute directly from the order trade page. Look for the “Need Help?” button and follow the instructions to provide an explanation of the issue.

Opening a dispute will automatically activate LootGuard, our trade protection system. The funds for the transaction will be immediately frozen in our escrow system and will not be released until the dispute is resolved. Our dedicated support team will then step in to review the situation impartially, using the ad description and the Order Chat log to find a fair solution.
