Welcome to the PeerLoot community! To ensure our marketplace remains safe, fair, and efficient for everyone, we require all users, especially those creating listings (“makers”), to adhere to the following rules.
Breaking these rules can lead to consequences ranging from listing removal to temporary or permanent account suspension.
Section 1: Creating Your Listings #
- Be Honest and Clear: Your listing title and description must be clear, concise, and accurately represent what you are offering to buy or sell. Do not add unnecessary keywords or misleading details.
- No Fake Pricing: Listing items at an unrealistic price (either too high or too low) to manipulate search results or mislead users is not allowed.
- Use the Correct Categories: List your offers in the appropriate game and category. Mis-categorized listings may be moved or removed.
- Be Original: Do not copy another trader’s entire product description. Your listings should be your own.
- No Games of Chance: Listings for lotteries, raffles, or any offer based on random chance (e.g., “An account with 1-100 random skins”) are strictly prohibited.
- No Copyrighted Images: Do not use copyrighted images from game developers or other sources in your listings or profile picture. Use your own screenshots or generic images.
Section 2: Fulfilling a Trade #
- On-Time Delivery: You are expected to complete your side of the trade within the delivery time you specified in your listing. Frequent delays or failure to deliver can result in penalties.
- Get Approval for Delays: If a trade is going to be late or you can only partially fulfill it, you must get the other user’s approval in the Order Chat first. Completing a trade late or partially without agreement may result in the dispute being resolved against you.
- Mark as Delivered Only When Complete: Only mark an order as “Delivered” after it has been 100% fulfilled. Marking it as delivered prematurely makes the other party eligible for a full refund if a dispute is opened.
Section 3: Prohibited Conduct #
- Zero-Tolerance for Scams: Any attempt to scam or defraud another user will result in a permanent ban and a potential hold on your funds.
- All Communication on PeerLoot: You must keep all trade-related communication within the official PeerLoot Order Chat. Sharing external contact details (like Discord, Skype, etc.) or moving conversations off-site is forbidden. This is to protect both parties, as the Order Chat is our official record for resolving disputes.
- All Payments Through PeerLoot: All payments must be processed through the PeerLoot escrow system. Attempting to arrange or accept payments outside of our platform is strictly prohibited and will lead to an immediate ban.
- No Advertising: You may not advertise other websites, personal shops, or any service unrelated to your PeerLoot listing.
- Be Respectful: Treat all users with respect. Foul language, threats, harassment, or insults are not tolerated, even during a dispute.
Section 4: Rules for Selling Game Accounts #
- Full Access is Required: When selling an account, you must provide the buyer with full and exclusive access. This includes the game login details and the login details for the original, associated email account.
- No Reclaiming Accounts: After an account is sold, any attempt to reclaim it is considered fraud and will result in a permanent ban. You are responsible for the account’s security until the buyer confirms they have secured it.
Section 5: Handling Disputes #
- Respond Promptly: If a dispute is opened against you, you must respond promptly within the Order Chat and provide any requested evidence (screenshots, video proof of delivery, etc.).
- Failure to Respond: If you do not respond to a dispute, it will likely be resolved in favor of the other party, and the funds will be refunded from escrow.
Section 6: General Requirements #
- Age Limit: You must be 18 years of age or older to trade on PeerLoot.
- One Account Per Trader: Using multiple accounts is not permitted without explicit permission from our support team.
- Holding Funds: In cases of proven fraud, we reserve the right to hold your funds for up to 30 days to ensure any affected users are reimbursed.
