Welcome to PeerLoot.com (“PeerLoot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PeerLoot website, our peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace, and any other services we provide (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

PeerLoot provides a P2P platform that allows users to buy and sell digital goods related to online games, including in-game items, currency, and other digital assets. Key features of our Service include:

  • P2P Marketplace: We are a technology platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users.
  • Bidirectional Trading: Users can post listings to sell digital goods (“Sell Ads”) and also post listings to request the purchase of digital goods (“Buy Ads”).
  • Crypto-Exclusive: All transactions on the platform are conducted exclusively using cryptocurrencies.
  • No KYC: We are committed to user privacy and do not require “Know Your Customer” (KYC) identity verification.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our Service. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
  • Account Creation: To access the Service, you must create an account using a username, a valid email address, and a secure password. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep it updated.
  • Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in any activity that is illegal, fraudulent, or malicious. This includes, but is not limited to, money laundering, financing of terrorism, or other financial crimes.
  • Buy, sell, or trade any digital goods that were obtained through illicit means, such as hacking, exploiting, or scamming.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
  • Post false, inaccurate, misleading, or defamatory content.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Distribute viruses, malware, or any other technologically harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, user accounts, or any other part of the Service.

You are solely responsible for your conduct and for the legality of the items you trade on the platform. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination, at our sole discretion.

4. Transactions, Fees, and Payments

  • Role of PeerLoot: PeerLoot acts as a neutral facilitator for transactions. We provide the technology, including a wallet and escrow system, to help ensure trades are completed securely. We do not take ownership of the items being traded.
  • Fees: We believe in a simple and transparent fee structure.
    • A small service fee is charged to the creator of a listing (the seller) only upon the successful completion of a transaction. The applicable fee will be clearly displayed before you post a listing.
    • There are no fees for depositing cryptocurrency into your PeerLoot wallet or for withdrawing funds from your wallet, although standard network fees for the respective cryptocurrency will still apply.
  • Cryptocurrency Transactions: You acknowledge and agree that all transactions on PeerLoot are conducted using cryptocurrency and are recorded on public blockchains. These transactions are irreversible. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the wallet addresses you use. PeerLoot is not liable for any losses due to user error.
  • Disputes Between Users: In the event of a dispute between a buyer and a seller, PeerLoot may, at its discretion, offer mediation to help resolve the issue. However, PeerLoot is not obligated to intervene and will not act as an arbiter of fact. We encourage users to communicate clearly and trade cautiously.

5. Assumption of Risk and Disclaimers

  • Volatility of Cryptocurrency: You acknowledge the risks associated with using cryptocurrencies, including price volatility. The value of your digital assets can change rapidly. PeerLoot is not responsible for any losses you may incur due to market fluctuations.
  • P2P Trading Risks: You engage in P2P trading at your own risk. PeerLoot does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by users. We do not vet users or the goods they propose to trade.
  • No Warranty: The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeerLoot, its affiliates, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
